Our series group lessons are designed to meet the needs of our families during times where scheduling can be the most challenging or more time is available to reinforce and build their swimmer’s skills even more!

Enrollment

Swimmers must be re-enrolled for each series. This program does not follow auto-enrollment nor require a withdrawal form. Series tuition is processed on the 16th of the month prior to series occurrence, enrollment after this date will be billed once confirmed.

Once processed, tuition is non-refundable and cannot be transferred from one series to another.

Due to space limitations and the purpose of this program, series are only eligible for 1 make-up/series. These make-ups must be completed within 30-days of the series.

Private lessons are a great compliment to our group lesson program or for our young adult/adult swimmers with specific goals. We do recommend children under 12 participate in both group and private lessons or use private lessons as a way to aid in transitioning to group lessons. These lessons are especially helpful to swimmers who: experience a high level of fear/anxiety; have special needs that require 1:1 attention; have specific goals toward base camp, swim team, or triathlon preparedness.

Private Lesson Standards

To ensure we are providing ample pool space at Pikes Peak Athletics Training Center and meeting the needs of swimmers in all of our programs, private lessons must be scheduled outside of the following hours:

• Monday – Friday | 4:00pm – 6:00pm

• Saturday | 9:00am – 12:00pm

• Sunday | 10:00am – 12:00pm

If scheduling outside of these hours is a challenge for your family, we highly recommend our 2:1 Mini Group Lessons available during peak hours.

• We ask that private lesson families give as much notice as possible for canceled/rescheduled lessons. When notice is given less than 8-hours before their scheduled lesson, a $15 fee will be assessed to the family’s account. Families who miss their lesson without notice will be assessed a $25 fee. Our Little Pikes Swim Camp is the perfect way to boost swim skills through stroke development, water safety competencies, and a wide range of swimming activities and games.

Each day, campers participate in two 30-minute swim lessons, a water safety lesson, and both in and out of water activities and games. Geared toward ages 4-12 years, campers are grouped by skill levels and age.

Whether you’re looking for your child to be water safe or sharpen their stroke technique, this is the camp for you!

What your swimmer needs:

• Two towels and a change of clothes

• Goggles (please do not send goggles with nose pieces, like snorkel masks)

The Pikes Peak Athletics Base Camp Swim Team is the best way to help your swimmer transition from swim lessons to formalized swim team. One of the toughest transitions in swimming is making the leap from lessons to team; the Pikes Peak Athletics Base Camp bridges this gap by teaching proper swim team technique and etiquette while gradually building the endurance needed to be on a swim team.

The goal of this class is to provide a positive learning environment for early swimmers who have an interest in swim team but aren’t sure if they are ready for the full commitment of a swim team or need additional help with their endurance and technique. Base Camp Swim Team is a great opportunity for swimmers to get in the water with a Pikes Peak Athletics coach and a small group of other new swimmers while learning the basics of swimming on a team.

Pikes Peak Athletics Training Center
$122/month | 1, 45-minute lesson per week

• Base Camp classes are held at Pikes Peak Athletics Training Center (PPATC).

• We require swimmers to complete an evaluation prior to enrolling in Base Camp. During their evaluation, swimmers must be able to comfortably complete: 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke, 12 yards of butterfly and breaststroke, a flip turn, and a dive. • Participants have the option of attending 1-3 times per week at PPATC.

• Base Camp follows our auto-enrollment group lesson format. Once enrolled in a class, swimmer’s spot will be guaranteed (pre-enrolled) into the coming months until swimmer moves up in level, wants to move time, or wants to withdraw from class.

• First month’s tuition is processed upon enrollment and then on the 16th of the month prior to the next month’s session thereafter. Enrollment can be completed online after your swimmer has completed an evaluation and approved by a coach.

Pikes Peak Athletics offers lessons to adults and teens of all abilities. While private lessons are an option based on instructor availability, we also offer group lessons to get you in the water swimming as soon as possible alongside your peers.

We provide swimming instruction to adults and teens with a variety of desired outcomes:

• Adults/Teens who are unable to swim who would like to learn this life skill.

• Adults/Teens focused on improving their swimming technique for triathlon.

• Adults/Teens looking to improve stroke efficiency for fitness goals.

• Members of the military focused on improving their endurance for swimming tests.

We offer the following groups to meet these needs:

• Beginner Adult (18+) and Beginner Teen (13-17yo): for swimmers who may have some anxiety in and around the water, have little to no swim ability, and need direct support in developing foundational swim skills.

• Intermediate Adult (18+) and Intermediate Teen (13-17yo): for swimmers who have some swimming abilities but would like to refine/develop strokes.

• Advanced Adult (18+): for adult athletes potentially interested in honing their skills to join a Masters or Triathlon program or for current athletes in these programs wanting to get direct instruction from a coach.

Once enrolled, swimmer spots are reserved until a family chooses to transfer to another class or submit a withdrawal form.

Administrative Fee (per family)

• A $35 Administrative Fee is automatically charged to all new registrations upon enrollment.

• This fee is per family, not per swimmer.

• This fee is then automatically charged annually on the 1st of the month of the anniversary date of the family's enrollment, as long as they remain enrolled. For example, if you enrolled on 1/15/25, your Administrative Fee for the following year will be processed on 1/1/26.

• If a family withdraws before their anniversary, their Admin Fee will be charged upon re-enrollment. This fee may be charged no more than twice in a 12-month period.

Initial Enrollment Fee (per swimmer)

• Upon the initial enrollment of each swimmer under 12, a one-time $10/swimmer enrollment fee is charged.
  
  This fee includes a FREE pair of youth goggles or reusable swim diaper.
